Right to Life of North Central Indiana held its second of four spring banquets on Tuesday, April 9 at Hanfield Global Methodist Church in Marion, IN. This year’s banquet had over 50 guests in attendance! Guests received an update from Katie Willman with the Pregnancy Help Center in Marion, and were blessed by keynote speakers, Mike and Lisa Davis of Deeper Still Northern Indiana. Jeff Adamson, Assistant Principal and Head Football Coach at Eastbrook High School, served as the emcee for the evening. RTL Executive Director, Dave Koontz, also gave an encouraging update on pro-life activities in North Central Indiana. Guests enjoyed a meal provided by King Gyros of Marion and fan-favorite truffle balls from Nothin’ But Truffles.
At the end of the evening, generous guests raised almost $4,000 in donations and pledges! Right to Life donors promote a culture of life in North Central Indiana and beyond by:
- Promoting the pro-life message through billboards, social media, & radio
- Partnering with five North Central Indiana pregnancy centers
- Sponsoring Pregnancy Center Networking Day
- Encouraging & equipping students through National March For Life, Life Guardians Training, & Students For Life groups
- Coordinating Life Chains in 12 locations in North Central Indiana
- Encouraging pastors to stand for life
- Promoting the Safe Haven Baby Box hotline number
- Sponsoring RTL’s presence at fairs & at the Marshall County Blueberry Festival
- and so much more!
We are truly grateful for every sponsor, table host, speaker, donor, guest, and volunteer who made the banquet a success. We hope that the banquet inspired guests to provide continued support for the pro-life movement in North Central Indiana and beyond! The work in advocating for the unborn and their mothers is far from over, but together, we will continue to lean on God for strength and wisdom.
There are only TWO more Legacy of Life banquets coming up in April, and we’d love for you to join us as an individual, a table host or a sponsor. Visit prolifebanquet.com for more information on the upcoming banquets in Fulton (4.22) and Bourbon (4.30).
Thanks to King Gyros of Marion for catering the event and Nothin’ But Truffles for the dessert. Thank you to these in-kind donors: Rabb Water Systems for providing bottled water, and Wildman for the table linens.
