The ProLife banquet crowd sitting at tables

Right to Life of North Central Indiana (RTL of NCI) successfully hosted its 29th annual Legacy of Life Banquet on September 22, 2025, drawing over 500 guests to the Manahan Orthopaedic Capital Center on the Grace College campus. The event was a major success, raising over $70,000 in donations and pledges in addition to $50,752 qualifying for an announced match campaign, providing a final total of over $120,000 raised!

Keynote Speaker Shares Inspiring Testimony

Attendees heard a powerful address from keynote speaker Steventhen Holland, founder of the “Broken Not Dead” ministry. Holland shared his extraordinary life story—His conception was the result of the gang-rape of an eighteen-year-old mentally challenged young woman. Incredibly, despite his mother’s lack of intellectual ability, homelessness, and a society that was constantly pressuring her to abort him, he survived.  His message, built on the Gospel of Jesus Christ, focused on hope and restoration for the broken. Holland is also the author of the book, The Journey: Brokenness to Wholeness.

ProLife Leaders Provide Updates

Local pastor and business leader Glenn Hall served as the evening’s emcee. Guests received updates on the state and local pro-life landscape from key figures:

  • Mike Fichter, President and CEO of Indiana Right to Life, provided a state update.
  • RTL Executive Director Dave Koontz updated the audience on North Central Indiana pro-life initiatives.
  • Katie Willman, executive director for Pregnancy Help Center in Marion, gave a report on the vital work being done by Pregnancy Help Center.

Mary Louise Lowe ProLife Award Presented

The evening included recognizing Mike and Lisa Davis of Deeper Still Northern Indiana with the Mary Louise Lowe Pro-Life award. The couple was honored for their dedicated work helping post-abortive women and men find forgiveness and healing through Christ.

Fundraising Goal Set

The banquet raised more than $70,000, with $50,752 qualifying for a dollar-for-dollar match up to $62,000.  Funds raised will be used to encourage and equip pregnancy resource centers, young people, and pastors.

Those who missed the banquet can still contribute to the match. Any one-time donation of at least $480 or a minimum monthly commitment of $40 will be matched. Donations can be made online or mailed to RTL of NCI, PO Box 1162, Warsaw, IN  46581.
