Changing Hearts and Minds and Saving Lives

You Can Encourage and Equip Young People to Stand for Life!

Even with the overturning of Roe v. Wade and Indiana being one of the more prolife states in the country, we still face many challenges to protect unborn children and their mothers. The abortion industry really only cares about the millions of dollars it earns every year from abortion.

Indiana women are being encouraged by the abortion industry to go across state lines for their abortions (including late-term abortions).  While illegal, abortion pills are being ordered online from organizations that don’t care about the medical risks to women.

Realizing that abortion is a heart issue, we need to continue to work to change hearts and minds through…

  • Encouraging and training young people to stand for life
  • Supporting pregnancy resource centers
  • Encouraging pastors to stand for life, and
  • Educating the public through billboards, radio, and social media.

Right to Life is really YOU making a difference in the lives of women, men, and children (born and unborn).

Thank you for your financial support.

A Donor-Advised Fund (DAF) is a charitable giving account that allows you to contribute cash, stocks, or other assets to a sponsoring organization, receive an immediate tax deduction, and then recommend grants to your chosen charities over time. DAFs provide tax-free growth on investments, offer flexibility in timing grants, and simplify the process of donating various assets, including appreciated securities, real estate, and cryptocurrency. They are a popular tool for tax-efficient philanthropy and can be managed through financial institutions, community foundations, or specialized organizations.

[Right to Life of North Central Indiana Education Fund can accept DAF donations.]

How a DAF Works

  1. Contribute Assets: You make an irrevocable contribution of cash, appreciated stock, real estate, or other assets to a sponsoring public charity.
  2. Receive Tax Deduction: You receive an immediate tax deduction for the amount you contributed to the DAF.
  3. Invest Funds: The funds in your DAF are invested by the sponsoring organization, allowing them to grow on a tax-free basis.
  4. Recommend Grants: You then recommend grants from the fund to qualified charities of your choice, either as one-time or recurring donations.

Benefits of a DAF

  • Tax Advantages: Provides an immediate tax deduction for contributions and allows for tax-free growth of your charitable investments.
  • Flexibility: You can decide to donate later, which is especially helpful for managing high-income years or complex asset donations.
  • Simplified Giving: Makes it easier to donate various types of assets, including non-cash and appreciated securities.
  • Anonymity: You can maintain privacy and anonymity in your giving if you choose.
  • Flexibility in Giving: You can support multiple charities and change your philanthropic strategy over time.

When to Consider a DAF

  • You are in a higher tax bracket and want to maximize tax deductions.
