TRAINING TOPIC: The Biblical Case for Life: Bringing Biblical Clarity and Grace to the Subject of Abortion

We are excited to welcome Mike Spencer from Project LifeVoice as our guest speaker. 

Legalized abortion is the defining moral issue of our day. Unfortunately, many people both within and outside of the Church have weaponized various Bible passages in an attempt to justify abortion. During this talk, Mike will present the Biblical case for life, confront so-called “personhood theory” which drives the abortion and euthanasia debate today, and expose six bad biblical arguments for abortion. In addition, Mike will explore the historical position of the Church on abortion and address the practical question, “How can pastors minister effectively to those in the church who have been impacted by abortion?”

Mike served as a pastor for 23 years and now travels extensively throughout the United States equipping pro-life ambassadors in churches, on high school and university campuses, and at pro-life banquets and conferences to make the case for life graciously and compellingly. Mike is a repeat guest speaker for Right to Life of North Central Indiana and in the past has also presented to our area pastors his popular talk, “The Pastor and Abortion: Compassionate Shepherding in An Abortion Infatuated Culture.”
