What Does Right to Life of North Central Indiana Do?

Make a Difference for Life
Whether it’s sponsoring the Life Chain every October, educating youth through the Life Guardians Training, creating awareness at fair booths and community events, promoting the Safe Haven hotline number and baby boxes, or financially supporting pregnancy centers, RTL of NCI uses a variety of methods, relationship building, and events to promote a culture that respects and protects all human life in North Central Indiana.
Pro-Life supporters are making a difference through Right to Life of North Central Indiana (RTL of NCI). RTL of NCI is pleased to serve Kosciusko, Whitley, Fulton, Marshall, Cass, Wabash, Grant, Miami, and Pulaski Counties.
Educate the Public
Right to Life of North Central Indiana (RTL of NCI) has existed since 1973. It started as a one-county organization (Kosciusko County) and expanded over the past ten years to a 9-County regional organization. RTL of NCI is educating our region on topics such as Safe Haven Baby Boxes, Post-Abortion healing, and Abortion Pill Reversal. RTL of NCI programs include: coordinating Life Chains, encouraging high school and college students to stand for life, partnering with and financially supporting Pregnancy Resource Centers, and promoting the pro-life message through billboards.
Expanded to Other Counties
In 2013, after significant consideration and discussion, Kosciusko County Right to Life and Whitley County Right to Life made the decision to merge and become Right to Life of North Central Indiana. At that time, the organization also began serving Wabash, Grant, and Fulton Counties. Over the next several years, the organization brought in Cass and Miami Counties and in 2020 merged with Marshall County Right to Life followed by Pulaski County to create the current, 9-County region.
Pregnancy Resource Center Partnerships
Since the late 90’s, Right to Life has partnered with and financially supported the Pregnancy Resource Centers in the region it has served. This has resulted in RTL of NCI now partnering with, and financially supporting, five pregnancy centers:
- Heartline Pregnancy Center (Warsaw)
- LIFE Center (Wabash)
- A Hope Center (Columbia City)
- Pregnancy Help Center (Marion)
- Women’s Care Center (Plymouth)
RTL of NCI has also been sponsoring a Pregnancy Center Networking Day for the past ten years. In November of 2022, 40 staff and volunteers representing 14 pregnancy centers from northern Indiana attended the event which provided professionally led workshops, an opportunity to network with other centers, and a catered lunch. All of this is provided by RTL of NCI at no charge to the centers.
Safe Haven Baby Boxes

Five years ago, RTL of NCI also made it a priority to see multiple Safe Haven Baby Boxes installed in the North Central Indiana region. Over a three-year period, RTL of NCI was directly involved in the purchase and installation of six Baby Boxes (Warsaw, Syracuse, Columbia City, Logansport, Rochester, and Marion). Two other Boxes have also been installed (Plymouth and Wabash).
In addition to the Baby Boxes, RTL of NCI has made it a priority to advertise the Safe Haven hotline number throughout the 9-county region which is staffed 24/7 and is helping moms in crisis situations. The advertising has been implemented through billboards.
